PRINCIPAL PLANNER
Joshua Chitiz, Principal with the firm, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University in 2009 and is Full Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners/Ontario Professional Planners Institute. Joshua joined the firm in February 2012. Prior to joining the firm, Joshua worked in the private sector for developers and as an independent planning consultant, having been retained by Toronto Community Housing Corporation to provide housing analysis for a City of Toronto Councillor.
Mr. Chitiz’s responsibilities within the firm include: research and analysis of land use options, preparing land use planning reports, site investigations, client relations, agency liaison, research and preparation for and attendance at OMB/LPAT/OLT and TLAB Hearings, mapping, preparing visual exhibits, the coordination, preparation, submission, processing and management of various development applications, including fulfilling conditions of approval. Mr. Chitiz is also recognized as an expert witness by the OLT and TLAB.
